Otter point and Ilala Gap, Malawi

The large bay of Cape Maclear is delimited by a granite outcrop of Otter’s Point to the West and the Ilala Gap to the East. We are in the heart of the Lake Malawi national park.

Lake Malawi national park

Lake Malawi national park, the world’s first freshwater national park and a World Heritage Site. Here, a veritable aquarium of tropical fish (mbuna cichlid, 450 species recorded) providing a colourful kaleidoscopic display.
