Kilmainham Gaol is a former prison which is now a museum. Kilmainham Gaol played an important part in Irish history, as many leaders of Irish rebellions were imprisoned and some executed in the prison by the British.

Millesgården – Hand of God

Millesgården is an art museum and sculpture garden, located on the island of Lidingö. It is located on the grounds of the home of sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), recognized as one of the greatest Swedish sculptors with an international reputation.

The Hand of God (1954) is one of Milles’ most well-known sculptures. It can be found in different parts of the world, in the USA, in Japan, Australia and Indonesia. The original, however, is in Sweden, in the city of Eskilstuna.

Welcome to the Louisiana Museum, the most famous museum of modern art in Denmark. It isn’t exactly in Copenhagen but in Humlebaek, 35 km north of the capital.

These statues are the work of Germaine Richier. They are called L’Ouragane and L’Orage.
