The Camargue horse is the indispensable companion of the herdsmen to move into the marshes and sort the bulls. The Camargue horse is not very big, 1,50 m approximately. It possesses an enormous resistance adapted to the terrain. Its dress is brown at birth, gradually become white after a few years.

Greater Flamingo plunges its beak into the mud to search for plankton, worms, mollusks, fish, insect larvae, crustaceans (including Artemia, rich in carotene, which intensifies and prolongs the pink color plumage). The beak of the flamingo is lined with complicated horny plates used to filter the mud.
