The little town of Bati is known for its large and colorful Monday market, which attracts many different people – Afar, Oromo and Amharas – from all around. People walk sometimes more than five hours to get there.

Millesgården – Hand of God

Millesgården is an art museum and sculpture garden, located on the island of Lidingö. It is located on the grounds of the home of sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), recognized as one of the greatest Swedish sculptors with an international reputation.

The Hand of God (1954) is one of Milles’ most well-known sculptures. It can be found in different parts of the world, in the USA, in Japan, Australia and Indonesia. The original, however, is in Sweden, in the city of Eskilstuna.
