World Heritage Site by Unesco since 1997, the Valley of the Temples is a must in Sicily. Here’re the Temple of Juno and Concordia, the best preserved. These two monuments were built from 460 to 450 BC for the first and about 440 BC for the second one.

Scala dei Turchi – Sicily

The Scala dei Turchi is a rocky cliff with an unusual white colour formed by marl (clay and limestone). This a unique place for lounging on the smooth rock. There’re two sandy beaches around this curiosity. Its name comes from a legend that the Scala was used as a hiding place for Turkish pirates.
